Fukuoka City-based Kyuden Infocom, a subsidiary of Kyushu Electric Power, said it will expand the services offered by the Kyushuro website it operates for South Korean tourists making reservations at Kyushu hotels and ryokans. At the request of repeat users of the site, it will now offer tourists the opportunity to make reservations at hotels and ryokans nationwide. About 2,000 South Korean tourists use the site every month to make reservations for lodgings, and the company hopes to double this in three years.
