Weekend Sees Fewer COVID-19 In Kitakyushu

Kitakyushu City announced five confirmed cases of the new coronavirus infection over the weekend (June 6 ~ 7.) Amongst the new patients was a man, who had been hospitalized at a local hospital. Transmission routes for all five cases are unknown. As of June 7, Kitakyushu City has recorded new infections daily for 16 consecutive days, for a total of 140 instances. Although the number of new cases has decreased over the past few days, the city continues to ask its citizens to take all possible prevention measures. Sources: Fukuoka Prefecture / NHK / NHK
