West Kyushu Shinkansen Construction to Start in August
The Isahaya to Nagasaki Shinkansen route will begin construction in August and will take 10 years to complete. The new shinkansen will make the Hakata to Nagasaki trip in one hour and 20 minutes, saving 28 minutes off the current trip time.
