Daiichi Kotsu Sangyo started its ‘Premium Taxi’ service on Nov. 4 in Kitakyushu. The taxis will be driven by drivers with the highest level of customer satisfaction. The taxis have free Wifi and the fare is the same as regular taxis. The City has seen an increase in the number of visitors from in and outside of Japan since regular international services started flying to Kitakyushu Airport. The Premium Taxi service started with 28 drivers in the Kitakyushu area and 15 dedicated cars. They plan to increase this number and the area served in the future.
