The Hofu Tenmangu Shinto shrine in Hofu, Yamaguchi Prefecture, conducted the completion ceremony for a Shinto crypt on the shrine grounds. The facility is built in a cylindrical shape modeled after ancient Japanese burial mounds. There is space for the remains of 123 families, and the use of one family allotment in perpetuity will cost 1.5 million yen. It is the first Shinto facility for the deceased in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
