Yamato Fly Their Own Jets Between Kitakyushu and Tokyo

Yamato Holdings Co., Ltd. will introduce the first company-owned jets to connect Kitakyushu and two other domestic airports with Tokyo. Three A321 ships currently used as passenger aircraft will be renovated to carry up to 28 tons of parcels and other items. The initiative will also play a key role in following the new national guidelines to reduce truck drivers’ average monthly hours to 80 hours, which will take effect from Apr 2024.
