Kitakyushu-based Yaskawa Electric announced a policy of making their production facilities more efficient to deal with the protracted appreciation of the yen. The company plans to build new robot production facilities in China, and integrate and increase its production of servomotors. They also intend to proceed with a large expansion of their inverter plant in Shanghai.
