On June 10, Yoshimoto Kogyo announced plans to open a new 500-seat theater in Fukuoka City. The E Zo Fukuoka entertainment facility will be located inside the Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome premises in the summer of 2020. This will be Yoshimoto Kogyo’s 16th permanent theater and their third establishment in the Kyushu region. The entertainment group will look to give opportunities for Kyushu-based comics to perform and hope to develop shows that are accessible for international tourists. Source: Nikkei Shimbun, 6/10/2019
