Mar. 27 marked the one year anniversary of the “Fukuhaku Minato Deaibune” launch. In honor of the water bus’ first milestone, there will be anniversary events held for three days in both Tenjin Chuo Park and Bayside Place Hakata- the two ports of the water bus. The events will run from 10:00-22:00 on Mar. 30, 31, and from 10:00~18:00 on April.1, and will include exhibitions of Fukuhaku Minato Deaibune products. The water bus itself is currently decorated with sakura, and staff are serving a menu of sweets, tea and alcohol. Catch the afternoon cruise between Bayside Place and Tenjin (runs 12 times per day) or the night-time cruise around Nakagawa (runs 6 times per night). Adult: ¥1,000, children ¥500.
