From Sep. 1 (Thu.), Fukuoka Art Museum will close for renovations. The day before it closes, it will host several workshops and events. From 17:00 to 18:00, join a mask painting workshop in the first floor lobby. From 17:45 to 18:15, there will be a raffle on the second floor – everyone who participates will win a small prize. From 18:15 to 19:30, take part in a dance workshop led by dancer Natsuko Tezuka and ondo (traditional music) composer Camera Yamanaka. From 19:25 to 19:30 the museum director will give a short speech and limited-edition badges will be handed out. The museum will reopen in March 2019.
