Mama Africa, a traditional music band from Senegal, performed in Fukuoka for the first time in 1996. Since then they have stayed active in Fukuoka playing events such as Sunset Live and collaborating with bands like Tao. In April they will hold a charity concert whose proceeds will be donated to help street children in Senegal.
