WeBase Hakata, a hostel in Tenya-machi open to both guests and non-guests, are offering a series of workshops for making miso paste and magnets of sushi food samples. Bring your own apron and make your own miso paste from scratch using organic ingredients, or join the food sample-making workshop (from molding to coloring) for three kinds of sushi magnets. Children can join, too, making this a great parent-child activity! Reservation required. Check the schedule below.

• ¥3,500 per lesson (incl. 2 kg miso and dessert made with amazake)
• Capacity per lesson: 8 persons (kindergarten-age children can join with their parents)

Food Sample: Sushi Magnet Workshop
