To celebrate the JR Kyushu Shinkansen’s return to normal operations (between Hakata Sta. and Kagoshima Chuo Sta.) after this year’s earthquakes, certain Kyushu Shinkansen will be wrapped in a special design. The wrapped trains are running as part of a campaign to support the recovery of Kyushu’s tourism and the island’s overall recovery. See the designs on the Kyushu/Sanyo Shinkansen N700 (Trains 1 and 8) between Jul. 9 (Sat.) and Sep. 30 (Fri.) (operating between Kyushu/Sanyo Shinkansen Shin-Osaka Sta. and Kagoshima-Chuo Sta.), and on the Kyushu Shinkansen 800 (Trains 1 and 6) between Jul. 15 (Fri.) and Sep. 30 (Fri.) (operating between Kyushu Shinkansen Hakata Sta. and Kagoshima-Chuo Sta.). Source: JR Kyushu press release, 7/1
