Measles Outbreak in Fukuoka is Over

Fukuoka Prefecture announced on July 5 that the measles outbreak is over. The infected patient found on May 29 is believed to be the last infected individual in Fukuoka City. No other infected individuals have been found since June 4 in Fukuoka Prefecture. The task force set up to deal with the outbreak on May 15 has been abolished. Source: Asahi Shimbun, 7/6/2018
