The Yamaguchi Financial Group, which controls the Yamaguchi Bank in Shimonoseki, and the Momiji Bank in Hiroshima, announced that it will open a new bank in Kitakyushu with the working name of the Kitakyushu Bank. The objective is to expand its business in northern Kyushu for retail financial services. The new bank is slated to open in 2011.
