Toyota Motors has temporarily halted production of its Lexus HS250h hybrid at its Fukuoka Prefecture plant after it decided to suspend sales and recall the vehicles after the discovery of an oil leak problem. The company said, however, that the impact on Toyota Kyushu will be minimal because that model accounts for only 2% of the plant’s overall production. The plant produced roughly 1,400 units in May, of which about 500 were for the North American market.
