May: Cat Island & Glass Wind Chime Painting Experience
Visit one of Japan’s oldest shrines, Munakata Taisha, dedicated to the god of paths. Next enjoy a seafood lunch before heading to the glassblowing factory, where you can enjoy painting glass windchimes. Then it’s all aboard the ferry for Ainoshima, otherwise known as Cat Island; Ainoshima is home to over a hundred cats, so there are plenty of opportunities to make new feline friends! Book here!

Enjoy a lunch of Wagyu steak or steamed eel (vegetarian options also available), then walk it off with a stroll through the traditional streets of Yame Fukushima!
