Softbank Hawks Win Pacific League Championship 2020
While our hometown heroes, the Softbank Hawks, won the Nippon Series the last three years in a row (2017, 2018, and 2019), tonight, they were crowned the Pacific Champions for the first time in three years. Tonight they defeated the Chiba Lotte Marines 5 to 1. The Hawks will start the Final Stage of the Climax Series with a one-game advantage as league champions. If they win that best of six series, they advance to the Japan Series and might win their fourth consecutive title.
