Fukuoka Prefecture is reportedly preparing to discontinue its pandemic-related business regulations and requests for non-urgent outings as of Mar. 21. A task-force meeting will be held on Mar. 19 to decide on the plan officially. The prefecture reported 4.7 new infections per 100,000 population over the previous seven days, which was lower than the criteria of 15 infections per week.
