Gaijinja, a one-man show, hails from Itoshima, Fukuoka, but has a California heart beating in its chest. This musical powerhouse, also known as Josh, serves up a tasty mix of acoustic J-rock tunes. His secret sauce? Lyrics in Japanese that, although nonsensical, bring a unique and humorous vibe to his music.

His lyrics may seem like gibberish, but the guitar-accompanied melodies speak straight to the heart. Upon first listen, these charming tunes take a delightful swim in your ears, captivating you like a lovely auditory earworm.

Josh isn’t new to the spotlight. His musical journey has seen him perform at indie music venues throughout the western US and at massive music festivals in China. With Gaijinja, he’s reinvented himself and his sound, ready to captivate the Reiwa era’s heart and ears with his distinctive J-rock style.
