Initially, the company, based in Fukutsu City and involved in the manufacturing and sales of water heaters, reported on June 5 that over 100,000 customer records, including names, addresses, and phone numbers, might have been compromised. Further investigations revealed an additional 270,000 records potentially leaked. Despite the breach, there have been no reports of misuse of the information.
