Construction Worker Arrested for Smuggling Drugs in Soap

A self-proclaimed construction worker, 23, has been arrested for smuggling approximately 4 kg of methamphetamine-laced soap from Thailand to Fukuoka. The suspect, Ryuto Matsufuji, allegedly shipped the drugs via international mail for profit. The soap, similar to legal products sold in Thailand, was discovered by customs officials during a postal inspection. Authorities believe Matsufuji planned to have an acquaintance receive the package and are investigating potential connections to organized crime due to the large quantity of drugs seized.
