On the morning of May 28, students from Fukuoka Agricultural High School in Dazaifu acted as “DJ police,” encouraging cyclists to wear helmets and follow safe riding practices. Positioned at the Ozano-Minami intersection—an area with frequent bicycle accidents—the students delivered safety messages and handed out helmet-shaped bread to commuters.
Police officers also conducted guidance on traffic violations, including the use of mobile phones and earphones while cycling. The initiative was organized in collaboration with local police to address the area’s high rate of bicycle accidents and raise awareness among students and commuters.
