Now in its 12th year, this is one of western Japan’s largest trade fairs dedicated to food from Kyushu and Yamaguchi. Established to promote the region’s agricultural, forestry, fishery, and processed food products at home and abroad, the event brings together 328 exhibitors and 43 municipal and regional groups. It offers buyers and food industry professionals opportunities for product discovery, information exchange, and business matching through seminars and exhibition booths.
Highlights include a shochu section featuring about 100 labels from 50 distilleries across Kyushu and Okinawa, a seminar on India–Kyushu markets by Ramkumar C, Consul General of India in Fukuoka, and a tasting and talk by Goh Fukuyama, owner-chef of Fukuoka’s Goh (ranked in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants), who will present original recipes using exhibitors’ products.
