A symposium will explore how to accelerate urban innovation through international intercity collaboration. Moving beyond traditional frameworks like sister cities and MOUs, the discussion will focus on designing systems that treat cities as ecosystems—enabling the cross-border flow of talent, capital, and knowledge. Speakers include members driving innovation in Fukuoka and Kitakyushu, and Gareth Davies from the UK’s Connected Places Catapult.
Program Highlights:
• Presentation: The Significance and Impact of International Intercity Collaboration
• Session 1: Current Status and Challenges of Innovation Districts in Fukuoka and Kitakyushu
