A five-day floral event themed “Fukuoka, City of Flowers” will take place at the Fukuoka City Botanical Garden, offering a multisensory experience of flowers. Highlights include displays by top gardeners from Japan and abroad, and an international-level garden contest inspired by the UK’s Chelsea Flower Show. Large-scale exhibitions of flowers from around the world and daily stage programs in the Symbol Garden add to the vibrant atmosphere.
Visitors can also shop for flower seedlings and gardening goods, while enjoying food from popular Fukuoka restaurants—lunch, light meals, and afternoon tea served in a flower-filled setting. In the greenhouse, the “Fukuoka Orchid Exhibition” showcases the delicate beauty of orchids in an ideal environment. During the same period, floral installations will decorate the streets of Tenjin and Hakata under the theme “FLOWERS IN FASHION.”
