Fukuoka Police Hold Grooming Seminar

The Tobata Police Station in Kitakyushu hosted a grooming seminar for about 40 officers, marking the first initiative of its kind by the Fukuoka Prefectural Police. Led by beauty consultants from Shiseido, the program focused on improving first impressions through skincare, appearance, and personal presentation. Participants learned how to use skincare products, apply BB cream, shape eyebrows, and style hair to project trustworthiness and approachability when interacting with residents. Officers said the training highlighted how appearance can influence communication and public perception. The station hopes the seminar will encourage greater attention to personal presentation as part of efforts to strengthen community relations. Source: KBC News / NHK News
