Around 500 varieties of authentic shochu and awamori from distilleries across Japan come together at this large-scale tasting event. Visitors can sample a diverse selection—including sweet potato, barley, rice, and brown sugar shochu, as well as awamori—while comparing regional styles and discovering new favorites.
Distillers from across the country will be on hand to introduce their signature spirits and share insights into their production methods and local traditions. Visitors can also purchase bottles at the venue. Food trucks serving shochu-friendly snacks and regional Kyushu specialties add to the experience, while advance-reservation seating on the Home Run Terrace provides a relaxed setting to enjoy drinks and food. This two-day event offers an excellent opportunity to explore the rich diversity of Japan’s authentic shochu and awamori culture.
