The Fukuoka Organic Marche makes its debut at ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. under the theme, “Cultivating Everyday Life: Five Days in the City.” First launched in 2019, the event has promoted organic living as a natural part of everyday life in Fukuoka. Held at Tenjin’s newest landmark, this five-day market invites visitors to rethink their food and lifestyle choices in an urban setting.
More than 100 vendors will participate over the five days, with a focus on organic producers from across Kyushu. Stalls will offer pesticide-free vegetables and fruit, sweets made with unrefined cane sugar, bread baked with ancient grains and natural sourdough starter, olive oil, natural wine, flowers, and lifestyle goods. One of the market’s highlights is the opportunity to meet the producers and learn about their products firsthand. On Aug. 2, a special screening of a documentary about Alice Waters, widely known as the “mother of organic,” will also be held.
