Oita-Seoul Flights to Resume

Oita Prefecture announced on September 7 that Korean Air will resume direct flights between Oita Airport and Incheon Airport near Seoul from October 25, 2026, with four round trips per week. The route last operated from January to March 2024, and the new schedule will match its previous record frequency set in 2003. Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays through March 27, 2027, using 182-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft. Flights will leave Incheon at 9:15 a.m. and arrive in Oita at 10:50 a.m., while return services will depart Oita at noon and arrive at Incheon at 1:45 p.m. Governor Kiichiro Sato said South Korean visitors account for nearly half of foreign guest stays in Oita Prefecture.
