Help decide this year’s “wine of Fukuoka” at the third annual City Wine Fukuoka 2012 event! Held at the Hotel New Otani on Sep. 20, this is a wine lover’s dream! Out of 22 brands of French Bordeaux (red and white), the three wines that best match Fukuoka will be selected by professional wine judges. After the initial tasting and pre-selection by the judges, Fukuoka citizens at the event will vote to select the top wine of Fukuoka for 2012. The event celebrates the sister city relationship between Fukuoka and Bordeaux, established in 1992. The top three wines will be sold in Fukuoka after the event, labelled as the “wine of Fukuoka”.
