Local Shop Launches Vending Machine Yakitori
Shime Town (Fukuoka) yakitori shop Kushizanmai has started selling its meat skewers in vending machines, making it the first attempt to vend non-canned yakitori in the industry. The restaurant’s president says he wants to make yakitori easy to get for traveling businesspersons and housewives. After perfecting a special sealed bag last year, the company began selling yakitori in vending machines at Nishitetsu Inn this June.
