The CG animated film “After School Midnighters” by Fukuoka director Hitoshi Takekiyo will be shown in France this June, at the Festival International du Film d’Animation d’Annecy. The film has been shown to rave reviews in Korea, Hong-Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Japan. It’s a comedy which uses uniquely stylized CG animation to tell the story of a 3 mischievous school girls who go on a midnight adventure with a biological model of the human body who comes alive. The film will compete in the “Out of Out of Competition” meaning it will be shown, but will not compete for the main prize.
