Fukuoka Buys Iodine for Nuclear Disaster Preparedness
In a first for Fukuoka Pref., Fukuoka City has purchased iodine tablets as part of its Genkai Nuclear Power Plant disaster preparedness. The tablets will be given to 273,000 city residents if a nuclear disaster occurs at the Genkai Plant in Saga. Source: http://mytown.asahi.com/fukuoka/
