JR Hakata City has announced 2016 was another banner year. The complex recorded a record sales of ¥106,100,000,000 which is a 2.5% increase from the previous year. Since opening in 2011 annual sales have shown year over year growth. Visitor numbers also reached an all time high at 70,550,000 for the four facilities including Amu Plaza Hakata, Hakata Hankyu, Amu Est and Hakata Deitos.
