China Airlines Launches Kumamon Jet
To support reconstruction efforts in Kumamoto following last year’s earthquake, Taiwanese carrier China Airlines will feature Kumamoto’s much loved mascot Kumamon on the exterior of one of their planes from May 26. Flying between Kumamoto and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the “Kumamon Jet,” will provide three round-trips per week.
