JR sweets-themed sightseeing train Aru Ressha will run for the first time between Oita and Aso (Kumamoto Pref.) limited to only three days (Jul. 19, Aug. 23, and Sep. 20). JR Kyushu states that they want to support the Aso area by running this route. During the three days, sweets and light meals made from Kumamoto and Oita produce will be served inside the train. A ride costs approximately ¥24,000 per person and there will be only one round trip each day. Source: Saga Shimbun, 5/24/2017
