If you are a school english teacher, ALT, or a university student looking for an activity-based teaching experience over your summer break, this might be the ideal opportunity for you.
Since 2005 Chimneys English School has been operating a summer school for our elementary aged school students. This year we will also be welcoming international exchange students from Malaysia and North America.
Our Summer School program provides a hands-on, fun, active learning environment full of different learning experiences. Being able to enjoy playing with children, together with the ability to communicate with them in English, are the basic requirements for anyone wishing to fill this position.
Applicants for this position must be native English speakers and currently be in Japan. As well, any experience working with children is a welcome plus. The position does not require teaching English lessons, but rather the ability to plan and operate fun activities, games, arts & crafts in an English environment. Only the most qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview. Successful applicants may be considered for future employment opportunities.

Umi, Umi-machi, Kasuya-gun, Fukuoka
Dates: July 29th-August 2nd as well as dates to be determined in July
for preparation
Hours: 9:00 – 16:30
Pay: ￥2700 p/h + transportation
