Fans of yakitori, the “soul food” of Kurume, will find themselves in grilled, smoky heaven: this gathering of 12 yakitori booths draws 50,000 meat lovers from in and outside the prefecture. Enjoy skewers of not only chicken, but beef, pork and veggies too for only ¥100~300! Locally brewed sake available too.
