The plum blossom is Fukuoka’s prefectural flower and signals the arrival of spring. From February to March visitors can admire 20,000 blooming plum trees spanning 80 hectares. Check out artistic bamboo lantern illuminations inside a wine cellar (entry ¥400) and enjoy delicious local Yame delicacies too.
