Nakasu becomes a pedestrian paradise in this colorful festival, with wagons lining the streets to sell food and stages hosting amateur wrestling, taiko drum performances and more. Don’t miss the Kunihiro Onna Mikoshi for a rare view of 500 women carrying a float around the streets (10/25: 7:25 pm, 10/26: 6:50 pm) as well as the Oiran Dochu to see a parade of resplendently garbed courtesans (10/25: 7 pm, will be postponed to 10/26 in case of rain). Join a bar hopping event at three popular restaurants in Nakasu (10/24: 19:30) for ¥3,500 too.
