Last week we reported on the Udon Paradise event held in front of Fukuoka City Hall. Today we have an event for ramen lovers to slurp it up at. At this annual event twelve ramen shops from around Japan (Kurume, Kumamoto, Hakata, Wakayama, Kyoto, Shizuoka, Fukushima, Miyagi, Hokkaido, Kanagawa, and Tokyo) have booths. And for the first time a very popular ramen shop from Atami, Shizuoka is here. Taste a variety ramen including unusual ones such as a tonkotsu katsuo combo soup. Kurume ramen is celebrating its 80th anniversary and two shops are collaborating to present the flavor taste of Kurume ramen.
