52nd Fukuoka City Art Competition will be held from March 30 – April 4, 2021. The residents of Fukuoka metropolitan area and within the city limits were invited to submit art in the seven categories. This year, three-dimensional design, manga, and video were added to the Design Division, which was previously only for two-dimensional design. The exhibition will feature 463 prize-winning and award-winning works in seven categories (Japanese style painting, Western-style painting, sculpture, crafts, calligraphy, photography, and design) selected from a total of 739 entries.
