Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus in Fukuoka

SBRC (Yunus & Shiiki Social Business Research Center) presents 6 public events in honor of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus’ visit to Fukuoka. Prof. Muhammad Yunus is the founder of Grameen Bank, which currently has 2,564 branches providing credit to 7.4 million poor people in 81,351 villages in Bangladesh. Established on October 2011, the SBRC aims to study, research, and promote Prof. Muhammad Yunus social business. The center envisions to produce skilled social architects, build partnership with related organizations in the world, create replicable social business models to combat the global issues (poverty, health, environment, energy, education, natural disaster crisis, etc.). Prof. Muhammad Yunus will travel to Fukuoka to attend this two day conference, made up of the following 6 individual events…
