Talented artists from across the globe are hosting exhibitions in Itoshima! Studio Kura welcomes foreign artists for eight-week-long residences. After their residency is up, somes artists hold a workshop to share what they know with the community. Three artists will be combining to exhibit their works this weekend: Sarah Bertrand-Hamel (Canada), who has created an installation called “The Path to the Ginger’s Spirit”, Betty T Doll (Australia), whose exhibition of illustrations is called “YUKI NO KO”, and Rob Ball (Australia), who has combined sculpture, photography and media art to create “FAMILY MOUNTAIN”. The gallery is 15-minute walk from Ikisan Sta. (JR Chikushi Line), but a pick-up/drop-off service is available to/from the station.
