Bon Odori Dance Event in Hakata

A special Bon odori dance event will take place at JR Hakata Ekimae Hiroba outside JR Hakata Station. The Hakata Summer Festival will give the public a chance to learn the dance that is performed during the Bon festival for free! A local taiko drum collective will help set the rhythm, while traditional dance groups will be on hand to explain the steps. Enjoy live performances and food and drink stalls, too.
