The Open-Air Secondhand Book Market, organized by local bookstores and publishers in Fukuoka, celebrates its 19th year. Held along Keyaki Street, around 80 vendors—individuals and bookstores alike—set up shop for one day only, offering books filled with personal significance. With a mix of unique selections, visitors are encouraged to buy favorites on the spot. It’s also a chance to chat with vendors and explore the character of each booth, making for a lively and enjoyable browsing experience.
