Potters and craft artists from across Japan gather for this annual event showcasing and selling ceramics, lacquerware, and other handcrafted goods. The venue features a wide range of items, from everyday tableware to one-of-a-kind pieces, allowing visitors to compare materials and glazes from different regions as they browse.
In addition to the market, a collaborative display pairs flower vessels by participating potters with ikebana arrangements. Hands-on workshops offer opportunities to experience traditional crafts, including making personal chopsticks from Kiso hinoki wood, trying a powered pottery wheel, and painting designs on Arita ware. Held concurrently, the Hokkaido Fair features 14 food stalls serving dishes made with ingredients from Hokkaido, offering northern flavors to enjoy alongside the crafts.
