Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Japan and China’s diplomatic relations, this groundbreaking exhibition showcases artefacts depicting 3,000 years of Chinese history. The exhibition is presented in 6 different sections, representing the periods between the Xia dynasty (c. 2070 BCE~c. 1600 BCE) and the Song dynasty (960~1279). Around 60% of the items on display are National Treasures of China, and many are open to public viewing for the first time in Japan. You’ll find historic masks, statues and other artefacts, along with explanations of China’s history.
