Colive Fukuoka 2025 | Digital Nomad & Startup Conference in Japan

START: Oct 1, 2025 END: Oct 31, 2025

Fukuoka Now is proud to return as a media sponsor for Colive Fukuoka 2025, a month-long international event that brings together digital nomads, entrepreneurs, creatives, and forward-thinkers from around the world. Taking place across Fukuoka City this October, Colive offers an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and explore the future of work and lifestyle—right here in one of Japan’s most livable and forward-thinking cities.

This year’s edition shines a spotlight on a growing global movement: solopreneurs in the AI era. With powerful digital tools now readily available, individuals are launching high-impact businesses with small teams—or even on their own. Colive 2025 explores what this shift means for modern entrepreneurs, and how cities like Fukuoka can support this new wave of agile, globally minded creators.

As part of our media sponsorship, we’re offering readers a 20% discount on tickets—just enter the code FUKUOKANOW when registering. But this isn’t just a promotion—we genuinely believe many of Fukuoka’s international residents will find real value in attending. Whether you’re freelance, working remotely, part of a startup, in the creative industry, or simply curious about the future of work and culture, this is a rare opportunity to engage with people from across Japan, Asia, and the world.

Last year, we joined several events—the opening ceremony, keynote sessions, local excursions, and the closing party. In all our years covering Fukuoka’s scene, we’ve rarely seen such a diverse, energized crowd in one place. We met tech founders from Singapore, designers from Europe, students, VCs, yoga teachers, and documentary filmmakers—many visiting Fukuoka for the first time. It was exciting to share local tips and stories with them, and to see how much this city impressed first-timers. So yes—Colive is for nomads, but it’s also a great chance for us locals to connect, contribute, and take part.

What is Colive Fukuoka?

Now in its third year, Colive Fukuoka is more than just a conference. It’s a citywide celebration of innovation, remote work, and community. Participants can join talks, workshops, networking meetups, cultural excursions, and more—all while discovering Fukuoka’s food, people, and thriving business and startup scene.

This year’s theme, “The Way – 道 – to Envision Tomorrow Together,” draws on Japanese values like ikigai (life purpose) and Do (the way—as in martial arts or tea ceremony), blending them with global perspectives and hands-on collaboration.
